The project CPE started at the IT Science Centre under the head of Prof. Dr. Bernhard Stütz, from the University of Applied Sciences of Stralsund and the faculty of electrical engineering and computer science and the University of Rostock.

In common with the middle sized industry, basic research in the field of apprentice and utilisation is running.

In this project the requirement of the VOIP (telephone via internet) will be analysed and implemented. Within this project the whole spread from developing the hardware up to the development of the software is covered.

VoIP Prototyp

The experience from out of this should be flow in a modular construction system for the appliance development. In this modular construction system are recovered:
Ethernet,
DSL,
classic analogue
telephonynie,
ISDN,
Voice over IP,
WirelessLAN,
USB und
other technologiesr.

This modular construction system is completed by the development of test systems for the development and production.

According to the project CPE framework, all necessary processes and marginal conditions for development and production of network instruments will be recorded and interfused.

Thereby Open Source instruments will be introduced wherever it is possible.

For long-term this project should be established as an independent company.
