In the scope of this project, actual technologies should be developed further so that applications of business intelligence (BI) could be geared to the needs of clients, and this partly fully automatic. For this purpose, the IT Science Center will develop a model driven design that will comprise various tools for the administration, for the methodology of access, for the data management, for the depiction and for the personalization. One goal is the support of the so-called Key Account Management by providing a special interface for the data of key accounts.

The general problem of the personalization of OLAP-applications should be solved by means of new and applied technologies from the field of view-definition and of management of OLAP-Data cubes based on meta-data.

A model language for the generation of users’ views will be developed that can describe the necessary OLAP-operations for the views, trough links, and the definition of the output and the subsequent interaction.
