doctors of the University of Greifswald and with computer
scientists of the University of Rostock. The target is the
development of an infrastructure to relieve the family doctors.

The IT Science Centre in association with
the Universities of Greifwald and Rostock, the partner OFFIS
as well as the IT College Putbus, develops a mobile touristy
assistance system, which supports potential tourists with
the process of editing the vacation pictures, the creation
of a multimedia photo album of the vacation during the stay
in the vacation area until the postprocessing.

SUE Screenreader for graphical

Nowadays computer workstations are not
suitable for disabled peoples. They require a delicate motor
coordination of eye and hand and the graphical oriented interface
between human and machine excludes visual impaired users or
restricted them at least. The so-called screenreader remedies
the abuse. It extracts the main textual information from the
graphic context and displays it on a Braille line respectively
provides it over a voice medium.

Perikles – Support of peri-surgical clinical processes by cooperating flexible workflows and auto ID sensor systems” |

The peri-surgical process in a hospital comprises all clinical workflows like admission of the patient on the ward, surgery, nursing, and discharge of the patient from hospital. The goal of the project is to provide an assistance-system which relieves the nurse, who coordinates all operations, from certain tasks. The system should simplify common and important tasks in the peri-surgical process, for example planning a schedule, coordinating, communication, and surveillance.
